Micronesia Coral Reef Monitoring (MCRM) is a regional program established under the Micronesia Challenge that works in partnership with local agencies and institutions, providing standardized coral reef data, tools, and support to inform science-based management across Micronesia.

MCRM provides the technical foundation for the Micronesia Challenge, a locally-driven conservation movement originated and perpetuated by the political leaders of Micronesia to protect the region’s natural resources.

MC created working groups to advance progress and regional networks.

This created the MC Marine Measures Group, which standardized coral-reef monitoring across Micronesia.
